We allow only multimedia files related to Mark Knopfler, that were NEVER OFFICIALY RELEASED in any form. Any official stuff will be inmediately deleted, and those responsible persons could be banned.
Please support the artists buying their official releases.
We're a spanish group of Mark Knopfler's fans. Our goal is to share the music without profit. We collect, restore and create for free amateur multimedia. We never use any media that had been officialy released in any form.
The artist himself, by his management, has stated that he agree with the non-profit exchange of his shows. So we feel legitimated in our activity. In the official site there's also a forum dedicated to this interchange. In that forum we often announce our activities, and never received any request to stop them. But, because the laws are different from one country to another, you should check your laws before using this site.
The access is free for all users of the KnopflerTK Tracker, using the same nick and password. We could apply some limitations in order to avoid leeching, and without any other purpose.
The KnopflerTK is a non-profit group. Absolutely all the services are for free. Nor payment or buying is requested. Ocasionally, we could call for voluntary donations to pay the servers, etc. If you want to donate, contact with gro.ktrelfponk@senoicanod.

There's a file size limit of 1000M. The purpose of this limit is to avoid abuse and overload of the server. Multipart files aren't allowed too, because they have the same bad effect. If you want to share big files, you can use the KnopflerTK Tracker (but the tracker has it's own rules).
The server resources are limited. Please use the site nicely. You can see the amount downloaded in the last 30 days at the upper right corner of the screen. There's a green light, that will change to yellow and red when you're running out the limits. The site can deny the downloads if you ignore these warnings.
The system don't support resuming downloads. When you click on the download icon the complete size is computed. When you retry, it will be computed again. Be careful with it.
There's no restrictions on the software you can use, but we don't recommend such programs. Those so called "accelerators" open several download channels in order to speed up. It means that your donwload will be computed SEVERAL TIMES, so you will run out of limits quickly.
